Legacy And Strategy

A recent conversation about ancestry got us thinking about legacy and how it influences our future. Many times, we’ve seen history repeat itself because we’ve not learned from it. This applies to business history, too.

Having your own business can feel like a series of rapid prototyping projects. We keep testing until we get the right offering, site, app, message and the proverbial kitchen sink. And, we incorporate the results right away with no time to spare which means we don’t always absorb nor apply the lessons.

It can be overwhelming and there is no rest for the weary, sometimes.

Sixense believes you can have your cake and eat it too because the Sixense Empathy Model™ makes it all possible. The approach was built with the sometimes overwhelmed entrepreneur in mind. The model helps entrepreneurs understand their legacies. It also helps apply that same information on a go forward basis. In other words, it’s a strategy compass. The model is an easy to follow process to help collect, record and apply learnings.

There’s nothing wrong with speed but it can come at the expense of legacy and understanding. Speed without process means we miss really important cues from and clues about our clients. The little details can make a huge impact on how we sell, service and retain them.

Speed without process means that we miss really important cues from and clues about employees, too. They have a make or break impact on the bottom line as we discussed in this post.

The Sixense Empathy Model™ can help you. Set up your free 30 minute phone consultation to learn about our services. Email parissa@sixensestrategy.com or call us at 312.208.7329.
